The Chronicles of Patrick

Yes the show (it’s one of my favorite television shows ever) but I’m simply talking about the actual planet.  The chunk of rock covered with water and stuff floating in space.  

Isn’t it wonderful that we live in a place where new species of animals are being discovered by humans all the time?!  The world can seem like a small and limited place sometimes; humans seem to be occupying almost all there is to do, and that fact is growing.  But then I hear about these incredible, strange new discoveries, and I marvel at huge, open, unknown lands, and I can hope and dream that someday it will be me venturing out and realizing more of what’s out there for myself and for the world.  

And I know that the quest for discovery will never be over, the adventure will never end for humanity, because our world is simply too massive and too diverse and too changing to ever see and know it all.  

That’s like the coolest thing ever.
